p.i head valves and rockers same as non-p.i(dont answer)

Are the valve and rockers inside the p.i heads the same as the non pi heads?

yes.. it is mostly the exhaust valve that is different on the PI

Intake valves on the PI heads are about 0.060" longer than the NPI since the combustion chamber puts them that much closer to the piston than the NPI head. Exhaust are the same length but different diameter. You can only use NPI valves in NPI heads.

also if i'm not mistaken, the PI intake valves have a much thicker "lip" right around the circumference of the valve, that aftermarket manufacturers do not incorporate to free up some PTV clearance, thus helping to clear some larger cams
