well my c.e.l is on again gonna try replaceing the gasket under the elbow cause its been off so much. if that does'nt work gonna replace my sensor.

Don't bother, the elbow is past the EGR and wont affect this code. 402 is excessive flow at idle. If you don't have bad idle its probably the sensor. If that gasket was bad you would have horrible idle.
I say the dpfe is toast. measure the return wire, should be less than 1v at idle (1/2v I believe). (other two are 5 and ground) Probably after you unclogged everything out you woke it up for a while then it died. Went thru the same s$%@ with my explorer. If you have a good scantool monitor DPFE parameter at idle (instead of the wire).

Gonna work on it today if i get a chance. let ya know how it turned out.
