I like the idea - but I'm not sure about the paint lines extending into the lamps.
This is external paint I take it? If you take acetone, you should be able to remove the leaked parts, and then use a pollish to remove the foggyness that acetone will probably leave on the lense, and the wax it when it's clear again.
The side lense almost looks like it could use a bit of black 'trim' around the edges as well.
its painted on the inside of the lens. first i used the duplicolor black or it was the cheap $1 blue can but it didnt coat it enough so i used testors model paint to make it darker and to make the 'drips'.
as for painting the corners, i dont think i will. i think it would look funny having the outside of the corners painted while the headlamps are painted inside. and its just a temp fix until i can find a place that sells just the lenses, hopefully a junkyard.
it just occured to me, that it could make an interesting paint scheme, if you (thats the universal "you", not neccassarily you) could come up with some subtle tribal design to put on the hood, or maybe some pinstriping. It would really tie the headlights into the car, and you could always do the design from the outside on the headlights and the corners.......................
wow, I just thought of a paint scheme to match the headlight masks instead of vice versa........... perhaps I need to get out more

the stuff that's on my hood are decals... i designed them myself to exact specifications in Adobe Illustrator and had them cut on a plotter. I also have big thunderbird logo's on my back side windows (the ones like the t0bird decals that're on the most wanted parts list, only mine are 14" long hehe) i also took the "Intel Inside" logo and changed it to "Thunder Inside" and i have that on my fuel door. I also have a tribal decal around the keyhole in my decklid. I went a little crazy with the decal's... and i'm not done yet lol. I'm going to put an SVT Emblem on the back in place of LX and i'm going to make chrome decal's with a black background for the quarter panels... alright i'm done lol
