I am a new member to this forum.
I am Harry from the Netherlands and and own (for years already) a 1997 thunderbird LX.
Friends call me Fordman.

I have a question:

Can anyone help me to get a 1997 parts catalog on CD

Something they use in the partsdepartment of a Ford garage


I already have the Car service information, this one is brilliant.

@Fierryo, Yes I am a kaaskop. Where do you live? I live in Tilburg.
I am not looking for any parts at the moment, but before it gets that far I want to be prepaired. I own my Tbird already 5 years, and I must say I did not have to buy any big parts yet. (only brakes, intakemanifold, side window because of burglary).

At the moment I have a engine code P1443, meaning an evaporation canister problem.

This is a great forum to find out what to do, so I will have to digg in to it.

I resently bought myself a code reader (www.OBD-2.com).
The Ford dealer wanted to ask me 70 dollar for the readout only, so I told him to kiss my £$%. :zbash:

It is a fabulous program to be installed on a laptop computer and very easy to use.

Tilburg? So that means that you are also a kruikenzeiker? I live in Zwijndrecht (pigtown) and work in Breda. I am closer than you think. So you already have your car for 5 years?
