those mods only prevent the engine from detonating if you have too much timing, and help the engine stay cooler, you won't get any power out of it though, it's worth it if you're running advanced timing

Getting my 89 Cougar XR7 SC back on the road. No brakes and when I hit the brake pedal the VMM smoked. Is there any connection between the VMM and the brakes or was this a coincidence? Does anyone have a pinout for the VMM?
So im not sure what the f*&^ the green vaccume line that comes off the egr valve go. Mine broke removing the eaton m90 to do gaskets. Found it under the car. I have a suspicion that it was previosly broken as there was gaf tape on the line. Where does the other end go so i can get a new line ran?
