I'm thinking real hard about this one. That's just minor surface corrosion, right?

Yes, the brownish areas you see on the cams is minor surface stuff on an "untouched" part of the cam. The journals, and the lobes are polished, smooth and clean.

I think I might have to start bidding on these then. I'm sure some fine grit sand paper and a can of WD40 will take care of that just fine.

Hey, how do I tell the passenger side from driver's side? I noticed one of the bolts had a white spot on the head face. Looks like these cams will clean up nicely with some fine grit sandpaper and WD40.

Somewhere online (perhaps even here) are the parts numbers for the cams, listing which is which. Or you can do an internet search. I've done both and found the answer. Other than that... I don't know.
