hey all

not sure if this has been covered or not, but I am about to install a PI engine from a 2001 Mustang GT into my 1994 Thunderbird, was wondering if I can use the mustang oil pan as my original motor's oil pan isnt in the greatest of shape, seems like the mustang oil pan has a longer rear sump area than the thunderbird pan, anyone know if it will fit?

thanks

Nope. The only other pan that will fit is a Mark VIII pan. It holds an extra quart. I believe the pickup tube for it is different too, and that you would have to use it with that pan, but I'm not certain on that, you would need to check.
