I think an article on what is required to install a later intake (PI or NPI) would be very beneficial to the tech section.
I know there are a few of us who have done this swap. I just completed mine and here are the parts I used. please add part numbers if you have them
2001 crown vic intake
2002 explorer upper intake ( I could not get the crown vic one to work right)
pcv tube from 2002 explorer
IAC from 96 T-bird
all the plastic tubes from a 96 T-bird
I had to splice wiring in for the later IAC
EGR and tube from a 96 T-bird
Bracket (F6SZ-9728-A) from a 96 T-bird
Cable (F6SZ-9A758-AA) from a 96 t-bird
I also used the throttle body from 2002 explorer
Is there any benefit to rewiring for the 96 MAF?
Everything else came from the 95 engine.

I was meaning something more for the guys who don't have alot of money and try to use as many used parts as possible. Just changing a 94/95 to a 96/97 intake is definately worth the change.

I understand & agree that a tech article would be beneficial, but actually having something in the Technical Articles added or changed is like ................................ well it's like waiting for membership packs. Someday

Five Star Ford & Reinhart are dirty words here yet they are still in the Technical Articles and as far as I know, Kenny Brown no longer has any products for MN-12s.

Last time we tried that, we were told they were reorganizing them and we couldnt actually do any of the updating... My article is still in WIP forum too. lol
