I pulled a 2002 crown vic motor had bearings done and oil pump. Since then I have used these parts from old car valve covers timing cover steering pump new tbird water pump with the pulley off old an ac delete bracket crank pulley the tbird alternator. New is a ford pi intake jba headers. The 96 belt is too large is there a issue I am not seeing.. I believe the the ac delete pulley may be shorter distance to the alternator.

How much too small?
I've had some that were really tight when they went on, bit it was 1/8" or so. 2", and somethings wrong.
Did you put overdrive pulleys on it?
