Some of you may remeber my wife's car that I detailed this past summer: http://forums.tccoa.com/showthread.php?t=67679

Anyway, one thing that has always bugged me is that no matter how much I scrubbed, and despite using a number of wheel cleaning products, the wheels always had a dullness to them and visible film when viewed up close. Well this weekend I took some plain Turtle Wax polishing compound to them, and they look better now than when we got the car.

Here are some before pictures. These wheels were just cleaned & Scrubbed w/ Eagle One wheel cleaner, and you can see how dull and filmed over they are.

After polishing

I am thinking of putting a coat of wax on them to to try to preserve the finish.

Mothers also does a great job of making the rims SHINE and adds some protection to them at the same time without much hassle!

Rims look great BTW!
