hey anybody have any expirence with powerdyne super charger i was looking into it and they apeal to me because of the price. is it worth it? oh and is there a way to make it fit without cutting a hole in my hood?
Yea it uses engine oil. I get about 22 to 24 mpg as long as I drive like I have some sence. The car is crazy loud right now to the point I don't like it, hurts my ears. I drive with ear plugs lol. Right now its ported manifolds no cats xpipe and no mufflers. That's with a 2.5 inch mandrual exhuast system. With the factory exhaust all you could hear was the supercharger.
Adding mufflers should help it's just stright pipe at the moment. I would of had some put on with the exhaust system but I hadn't planed on the flowmasters being rotted out again. This is the second set of flowmasters I have had on the car. There were no baffels left at all in them. Going with magnaflow this time maybe they will hold up. Just didn't have the extra 200 on me after 300 for the exhaust system and 120 to have it put on.
So any tips on tapping the oil pan for a Vortech on the 4.6. Really would like some tips from people that have done this on TBirds and NOT Mustangs. I don't wanna screw the oil pan too badly that I end up having to pull the motor and drop the pan, that's not something I want to end up doing.
Does someone have manual for installing Allen M90 supercharger kit to 1996 Thunderbird/Cougar? I have complete used kit. But I am wondering if I need to relocate DPFE sensor? Also this kit is missing intercooler tank and some other minor components so install manual would be great.
