Ok heres the deal. There is something messed up with my engine. The problem is that it seems the car wants to push all the antifreeze right back out the fill tank for some reason. I will let the car warm up before i drive. The temp gauge shows its alittle warm before i drive but when i drive the temp gauge drops all the way to cold. then i dont get any heat and the car gets really jerky when you hit the gas and let off. While driving the car pushes all the antifreeze out causing it to get hot with the lack of the coolant. We have tried about everything to get this thing running right. We just put in a brand new water pump and nothing does the same thing. We are now on our third thermostat and still the same thing. We just did a head gasket job a little while ago. Yesterday we pulled the radiator and had a look at that but we cant really tell if thats the problem till we can take it apart and i wont know till monday:mad: tell me what you ya think it is if ya can. thanx.

You've replaced the radiator cap, right?

Might need to bleed air from the cooling system.

I dunno, that's exactly what what mine did when the headgaskets went. I would take it by a radiator speciality shop and have them put that chemical into the coolant that turns color when exhaust is present in the cooling ssytem.

check for bubbles in the coolant, make sure water pump is turning in the right direction also check to see if bottom hose is collapsing. Dose it come out all the time or just when driving.

I'd say bleed the system and squeeze the top and bottom hoses to see if they are soft at all. They will have a little softness to them but there should eb some resistance to squeezing them together.

Also, what color is the coolant in your radiator and does it buble or smoke when overflowing?

It's also possible to buy bad thermostats. Sometimes they just don't work right. I know it's a long shot after replacing it 3 times already but if the above things don't work I'd try that again.
