Im no expert but.. no cons that i know of.. how big is your shot? pros are you dont have a 200 hp kick that rips the tires loose .. and since it doesnt (hit) so hard.. it should make the motor live longer. sure the big hit is fun.. but the smoother progressive shot helps keep the car hooked and no silly stuff at high rates of speed.

will start out at a 150 for the first stage.

yeah, i couldn't think of any cons either....just good stuff!

Some people claim it wears out solenoids faster due to the varying voltage but this is fourth hand information. I have never tried anything other than a window switch with skip gear feature.

I did read that in the instructions.
For a safe application, its best to run another solenoid in front of the nitrous solenoid, that way if the other one sticks open, it will be closed by the first.
Yeah, the controller uses pulse width modulation to adjust the nitrous flow.
