Hey guys, I'm going home on Wednesday afternoon and I'd really like to avoid I-4 and 408 altogether. I normally take 408 to I-4 (exit 82) and take I-4 to 27 (exit 56 or so)...and that 45 miles or so really blows. I can only imagine that it will be worse on the day before Thanksgiving.

So, I'd like to go through Kissimmee and I need to get to 17 or Haines City somehow. If any of you guys can recommend a route from 417 that way, I'd appreciate it! I looked at some maps and I'll figure it out if I have to, but you guys know the area well so I figured I'd ask you! Thanks.

easy

take 417 to John Young parkway...should be at Hunter's Creek..

go south on JYP.. keep on it for aboot 10min, after you cross 192, you have about a mile and you are on 17-92..

if you wanna go to 27, you can just stay on that road, will bring you right to Haines City

normally, i would make the right onto Osceola-Polk county line rd, and take that to the end (I-4) go west on that and you will reach 27 rather quickly...

if ya want.. pm me and i'll give ya my cell in case u get lost :D
