I have an 03 Ram 1500 Quad cab and put a 6" lift on it. Went with 17" rims and 35" tires. I put new 4.10 gears to help it out and when I go up hills the RPMS are high and I feel like I have lost a ton of power. I tow my boat and when going up hill I really need to punch it in order for it to pick up speed. It does fine on flat surfaces, but is there anything I could do. FAB TECh says 4.10 gears is the best for my application. Is buying a chip going to fix this problem at all. Any help would be great. Thanx.

Trade it in for a F250 w/ the turbo diesel and the BANKS power system upgrade, or Chevy 2500 HD. jk.

A chip will help but you have to remember you turning some big tires now.
