Hey everyone, I have two computers, both connected by one ethernet cable and none have an internet connection. I tried to use XP Home to setup a Network between the two, they both are on the same network name, and both are sharing the C drive. But When I go to work group drives nothing shows up for either one, please help me out here.

If you're just using a single cabe to connect them, and not a hub, switch, or router, you'll need to use a "crossover" cable, a plain ethernet cable won't work if it's the only thing connecting the two.
