Truly a great loss.

Hopefully Ford will make a memorial edition in his name...

RIP Carroll Shelby.
You've left a legacy that not many others can claim, having worked with Ford, Dodge, and Oldsmobile to name only 3.

CS, I thank you for the AC Cobra.
I thank you for the Shelby turbo Daytonas.
Thank you for the Shelby Mustangs, and for the Dodge Viper.
I salute you Sir, and Godspeed. :angel2:

America has indeed lost a true icon, a hero to past and present generations, and will surely be remembered by future. Race in peace Mr. Shelby, may us with racing in our blood and wrenches in our hands make you proud

He was pushing for that 1000hp stang up until death. He is now flying low alright...underground low. At least his name is world renowned I dont think another name will come around like that and get involved with so many companies like he did. I like how he felt the need for speed til he died, thats a driven man, an example for all looking for success in the autoworld. I was wondering how long he wsa going to live since he surprised me how he just kept going and going.
