well i have a problem i think i figured it out but just looking for advice well my car keeps overheating and i think it is b/c my fan is died because i had tried running with ac on and the heat on and still nothing and i was wondering if it would be just the fan or could it be the t-stat is broken. but then i was thinking if the a/c was on it would come on anyways right?

Yep, theoretically your fan is supposed to come on when your A/C is on. Unhook the fan motor and put some juice to it from a battery to see if it moves at all - if it doesn't, that's your problem right there. If it runs, then it's probably your temperature sending unit, or radiator fan switch. Your thermostat doesn't do anything to control the fan, though it can contribute to the overheating, of course, if it's stuck. Might also check the wiring and connections, in case anything's shorting out anywhere.
