I just noticed a rattling sound the other day coming from the rear end, especially when I go over bumps.

Now, it doesn't happen over just any bumps. It mainly happens when I'm on a rock driveway, slowly, or when I happen to go over pavement that sections had been replaced. (The 'lines' in the road.)

Not sure what it is. I've checked almost everything, and made sure everything was tight. It almost sounds like a slapping sound.

Check your rear stabilizer bar link kits. They become worn and you really can not see the play , but the ball joint end gets lose and in smooth conditions the stabilizer bar takes up the slack, and when you go over uneven area,s the bar springs and the ball joint clunks.Hope this helps, regards Jim

Found out what the noise was.

The noise happened to be my brake pads. The anti rattle clip on the outside pads seemed to have come off.

Atleast, I noticed I should probably replace my shocks soon.
