Anyone getting better than 11-12 miles/gallon on the city streets with the air conditioning on? With a compination of freeway driving and city streets, I get 16 miles/gallon. Not sure what I get on just the freeway yet...

Anyone doing better? Any ideas to get better mileage with my set-up?

You want some more fuel economy? Install the stock 195 degree t-stat.

You'll be more KNOCK constrained like that, but all thing being equal, the hotter an engine runs closer to it's adiabtic efficiency, the more power it makes. It also means it's more efficient.

Why did Jim tell me to put the 180 in the car then? He said it would run better with the 180, but I noticed it not warming up as quick either...Ford always recommends the 195...

What should Jim set the Fan speed at then, since I am going up to AED on Friday...

AED has you install the 180 degree t-stat due to the simple fact that a colder running engine is LESS KNOCK constrained. Therefore, they can dial in more spark timing. 1 degree of spark timing on a supercharged engine is approx 4-5 HP and 8-10 lb.-ft. of torque. So imagine what 4 more degrees of spark would do?

I say leave the 180 t-stat in and stop crying about your supercharged 4.6L T-Bird's fuel economy.

The fact that you have a 180 t-stat means the engine isn't running as efficiently as when it had a 195 degree t-stat. The hotter and engine runs closer to it's adiabatic efficiency, the more power it makes and the more efficient it becomes.

If you have a 180 degree t-stat then your fan should come on around 180 degrees F. or slightly higher. Having the low speed fan come on at 205 F. and the high speed fan (difference is a resistor) come on a 220 F. when you have a 180 F. t-stat is working against yourself.
