make the entire thing work?

Well, not sure of width, might be okay

need to have a upper and lower arm mounts

a watts linkage mount

probably need upper shock mounts

probably need upper coil spring pockets

then at this point what about the gas tank, that relies on the driveshaft that doesn't articulate up or down? not sure there is room

probably have exhaust issues

Find an 88 TBird for a solid rear axle. Not just the axle, the entire car :)

A 83-88 Thunderbird...

And then it's a moot point because it'll already have one. :D

Are you asking about the entire axle assembly, or just the differential?

if just the "diff", it doesn't say if it is trac-loc equipped or not, but:

open or trac-loc, the carrier is 31 spline

3.27 gears, aren't those what you already have?

If the entire axle, you know you have an IRS rear end, right? To install the axle would be a ton of work.

if you want to use the whole assembly its alot of work that, well.... no one has tried (with the exception of backhalfed tubbed drag cars).

if you want the trac lok and gears alone its way too much money, and still will require work to use with the IRS.
