Hi everyone,
My name is Cody I've got a 95 xr7
4.6 auto trans with an 8.8 IRS.
I need to put new upper control arms, (shaped like bananas)
The holes that the bushings go into are beaten out of round.
I can't find them anywhere.
Links to oems and or aftermarkets would be greatly appreciated, or if you know dimensions, I could fabricate my own.
I get lots of junk email so if you could save me some time and Text me,
417-547-3322 that would be greatly appreciated.

Check out TBSCshop, I’m sure they have a few.

The trick to getting the old bushings out is chiseling a slot into the sleeve along its length. The bushing assembly squeezes out way easier without damaging the arm itself.

I'm not sure what state you're in , but I'm seeing more and more Thunderbird, cougar , etcetera, etcetera ,parts than ever .
When I got my 95 I noticed it had a slight pull and showed on the tires .
Then the clanking came, which resulted in front drivers tire coming off the ball joint in a scary stretch of road.
The tow guy happened to be the same tow guy when I towed my 91RS ( yes 3rd gen Chevy) a month prior .
No idea how he managed to get it on the bed and in my driveway .
Took a bit to coerce it off the ground, put it on stands and began to disassemble . I replaced the upper and lower CTA , sway links , inner outer tie rods, ect ect ..
When I switched out the sway links to the spindle , I noticed the sway links I took off were different.
Not just from the replacement links ,but different from each other .
Wasn't bent , it just wasn't the right part but was on it .
Which explained the pull .
I had looked up and hadn't seen where any models that had 2 different sway links . I've yet to tackle the back part of the car . Soon though. I'm far in the upper corner of the states, the very rainy one lol .
I can look for you if you still need some ,
