To whom it may concern: I am interested in purchasing an OBD II reader for a 1994 Thunderbird. I have been manually resetting the "Check Engine" light and would be driving for a couple of weeks when all of a sudden the light comes on. I would like to read the code(s) to know what may be the problem. I have changed out the MAF recently and was wondering if the sensor is fouled again.

Thank you in advance for your time and reply.

Yeah give AutoZone a try. I went a couple weeks ago and they scanned it. The only problem you might have with them is that your car is a 94 and OBDII was officially adopted in 96. When I went they specifically asked if my car was 96 or newer.

My brother has a code scanner and it would work on my 96 but wouldn't work on his 95. I don't know why but I believe it's because the 94/95 T-Birds didn't have full OBDII functionality.
