So I started to remove the left ext. Handle on my 97 tbird and I can't see or reach the clip on it. Looks like I have to remove the window and rear track. Is this correct?

If not how? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks

Pretty much, yes. You can get it out by removing the rear track and leaving the window in place, but I’ve never been able to get it back in with the regulator in place.

Thanks. I will get on it tomorrow and see how it works. Just want my tbird back. She's been parked for almost a year. Figured I'm stuck at home might as well work on her.

Well got the handle out, taking out the track helped a lot. Isn't broken. The shaft came loose and pulled out of the front hole. So the plan is to replace the shaft and put it back. Need some hardware so has to wait. I only go out once a week or so.
