Finally got around to looking at my suspension...mainly just to learn what each part is...and to see if any boots or joints were messed up. The left upper control arm (driver's side) was still tight and full, but the right one (passenger side) was torn.
Is it advised to replace both UCA's or is it ok to replace just the one that's busted. I would normally not ask this question because I know the best answer, but I am low on funds and would like to see if that is a place that you can get by with replacing just one.
Hopefully this will cure at least some of my vibes...
Nothing else seemed out of order.

I replaced my driver's side UCA only.

Right side was fine.

I do not see any reason to replace the other one, as long as it checks out OK
