An altogether different design than any supercharger unit on the market, the Rotrex is a centrifugal blower unit, but not quite like the conventional gear-driven design. Internally, the Rotrex uses fixed-ratio steel planetary rollers instead of gears, promising less noise, greater efficiency and no need for gear maintenance. Lubed and cooled by specially formulated Traction Oil, the Rotrex kit includes a front-mounted oil cooler to ensure cool oil temps, and the only maintenance required is a 60,000-mile Traction Oil oil-change.

Its been around for 10 years. Its as small as the turbo inlet housing used. Had a large discussion on the sccoa about it. I say good for an import...Not a race blower by any means in my opinion
