Ok, I know this isnt a Tbird, but since you all are so knowledgeable I figured you could help. 02 Taurus. The engine rpms fluctuate kinda like when the a/c is on and your sitting at a stop light and the clutch is engaging and disengaging. The problem is, is that it does it even when the a/c is off. The car was recently relocated to Reno. Someone mentioned to me that it may be searching for a new idle point due to the elevation of Reno. The guy said that there is some type of barometric meter or sensor that may have gone goofy. I have never heard of a barometric sensor on a car but that doesnt mean its not there. The car was given a thorough inspection by a Phoenix Ford dealer before it was taken to Reno. No problems were found. By the way, no check engine light has surfaced. Any idea's. I was kinda thinking the idle control motor but I want to know if there are any other possible problems. Thanks
