well my car seems to run fine until i get it warmed up and into the norm range than after that it seems like it does not want to cool down at all. it just keeps getting warmer and warmer. any clue what u think it could be? i tried just about everything now. new 160 degree thermastat, new cap, new ect, got a 16" eletric fan hooked up to a switch, should not be any air bubbles in it. the only other thing i can think of is either radaitor or maybe hoses. water pump is pretty new maybe since last summer.

Make sure the coolant level is correct. The 1994 Service manual suggests the following for 'engine overheating':

Possible Source(s):
Damaged water thermostat.
Damaged water pump.
Internal coolant leak.
Engine cooling fan and fan blade inoperative
Plugged radiator.
Plugged heater core.

In the pinpoint test for the items after the thermostat, one thing it suggests is a faulty 'pressure relief cap' ...just food for thought...another is almost unmentionable (internal coolant leak).

Another idea, based on a test for "Coolant Temperature Reads Erroneously," is that the water temperature sender is faulty.....
