i am just wondering, does anyone else here eat this stuff? I've been eating it pretty much all my life, and had it tonight, what a treat :D Now, I got to thinking tonight, I dont think I've ever met anyone else who eats this stuff, much less likes it or maybe even knows what it is....I live in california, but my family is not from cali originally, they're from the midwest, so is it just not a cali thing? Just curious.

It's definitely an acquired taste.... IMHO it's difficult to beat a good Ruben sandwich.....
I agree with Eric Z., a ruben sandwich once in a while is great! I also love sausage, but I'm the only one in our house who eats it... so with 6 people to satisfy at once, I don't get to indulge.

Sausage, yes. 'kraut, no.

I have German/Polish in my heritage (not to mention Russian), but never developed a taste for sauerkraut.

Traveler - www.dictionary.com has quite the definition of haggis... :beek: I knew part of it, but...wow...
