This may be a complete shot in the dark.. but have you looked into the specs that are in Mike's SC (yes, Marc's old one) I remember it being a high lift and not sure if you'll want that with having an auto? Shoot Dave an e-mail to see what he recommends for head/cam combo - but first, determine what your final goal is so you won't have to purchase parts more than once. One thing I didn't see was a shift kit. A Lentech Valvebody won't be cheap, but it's a GREAT upgrade.

Otherwise, sounds good. Hope it works out for ya.

Ah, ok - didn't know you had something in the trans already. I'd still seriously consider a Lentech VB though. The manual control is great. Do you still have to do the 1-D-1 shuffle to get 2nd gear?

Marc's setup was high lift.

Having an auto would be better since Jason has stall to assist with the lower "low end" torque.

You will have to use a wet shot.

I'm not sure the 255lph pump will be enough.

Needs MPX case.

You don't want to - it's a PITA. To get the AOD into 2nd gear and hold it, you shift from 1st to drive, and back to 1st. It's not the easiest thing on the trans.

Another reason why I really like Lentech - it allows you manually shift between the gears and lock out OD at the track. Yes, you can shift your AOD into Drive, but I've seen AOD's shift into overdrive when the shifter is in drive.
