Just have a few questions, hoping to learn a couple things from the seasoned nitrous users.
1. when using a window switch on a wet kit, what's the lowest rpm to safely activate the system?
2. do you guys spray through the shift (automatic)
3. safest wet shot with stock fuel pump?
I can't believe no one has responded.
1. 3000 rpm is the suggested RPM.
2. Automatics usually spray through the shift.
3. Safest on stock pump probably like 75hp.
Thanks for the reply. That's kind of what I was expecting. I've got a new gear and converter waiting to go in. I'll also do some exhaust work and j-mod the trans. Then I'll go with nitrous. I'm going for the best bang for the buck with this car. Just trying to thoroughly research before I do it to shorten the learning curve. With a 75 shot, it will still be under 300hp so I think I should be okay spraying through the shift. Anyone else have input? What is the lowest rpm anyone has successfully used a wet shot without backfiring (I don't want to harm the stock plastic intake). 3000rpm should work well though as that is where my converter is supposed to stall.
