Could this cause an oil leak if you don't already have one? I know it breaks up the built up gunk in your vehicle depending on where you put it, but I don't want to put it in my oil if it'll potentially cause a leak.

It shouldn't cause a leak. Not saying that it couldn't happen. The only way that it could cause a leak is if you have some sludge stopping the leak. The seafoam will wash out the sludge and then it might leak. Most of the time the leak is cased by loose bolts, worn seals. If you are using Motorcraft oil it is a blended syn oil. That should cut down on the sludge.
