Hi guys. My driver's seat in my 90 SC is really uncomfortable these days. I can feel the square frame through the padding, and I really need to get this fixed. Has anyone here had a seat repadded? I got a quote of $200 several months ago. I almost want to put some kind of plate down there just to protect my butt from that frame!

You can do what I did in my Explorer before I swaped out my seats for leather. I took the seat cover apart(held together by plastic clasps under and in the back). Then I cut up a thick wool blanket into pieces the size of the seat frame and put them under the cushion and one on top of the cushion then put the cover back on.
