Hey all, I have a 93 2.3L foxbody that has given me tons of problems before, but this one is new.

When I go to drive forwards or even backwards, it rolls just fine, but when I go to give it gas, the car revs up to 2-3k rpms, then gets going. This happens from stop or going up a year, but when I am moving, even slowly, it can usually get going. I’ve also found that if when I’m moving I slowly press on the gas and gain speed it doesn’t rev.

No clue what the problem is or why but this one is new, any ideas at all would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

Also be sure you take the time to read through Jerry's Thesis in the tech articles section. I am pretty sure this symptom is covered with at least 1 (if not 2) likely causes listed.
