I know i might get some gruff about this but here it goes. I was reading around and i see everyone has the shudder problem 30-50 mph but the question i have is does it happen imedietly when you start driving?? or does it take a little while like when the fluid gets hotter?? Iv done all the stuff to try to solve mine but it did not help. My car is fine when i first drive it but then it does it. The one other thing i was wondering about is anyone have the shudder vibrate stuff in the back end of the car?? It feels like it travels to the rear of the car and vibrates everything.

It may not happen at first because the EEC doesnt command TC lockup until the trans fluid is warmed up.

If you have switched to mercon V and still have TC shudder, you need to replace the TC. This is especially important to the 94/early 95 cars, as they had weaker TC's than the later ones. When the TC disintegrates it will turn the fluid as dark as burnt engine oil... and if you don't catch the TC before it starts to disintegrate, the tranny will fail soon after.
I've been there done that, and I've got the rebuild receipts to prove it.

Ya i got an 02 gt converter comming soon so i'm gonna be puting that on hopeing all the vibration goes away. I really wish i had this car when it had like 40,000 or less on it because whoever owned it before me never changed the fluid or filter basically ruining the TC. I got about 78000 on it now.
