Missouri recently passed a law that no longer requires vehicals 95' and older to take emmisions testing. I've been wanting to have some fun by maybe messing with with new exhaust. Im thinking about stock cats and both pipes leading out the side with no mufflers. I belive that there would be enough back pressure. Is this practical/ possible? My freind had something like it on his 4-cyl ranger and it sounded fine. Please post thoughts/ comments/ ideas.

Well, that law doesn't go into effect for a little while yet (August '07, I believe).

Anyway, there are quite a few threads in this forum on the subject of side exit exhaust. Do a quick search, and you'll see the associated problems, along with a couple setups that were done right (392bird's and Mike Tuck's XR7).
