Hey how do you remove the silencer, is it hard or not, and what advantages and disadvantages come with this modifiacation.

try to yank it off from underneath the front air dam or take off the front passenger wheel, pull back the splashguard and take it off from there

advantages, a bit more sound when you gun it.....disadvantages....none that i can think of

It's a worthless pound or two.

You can get it off without prying back the fenderwell, but it's a tight squeeze.

Just pull the stock box off, unscrew the bottom portion of it and it should fall down...getting it out the bottom of the air damn is the hardest part. It's a lot bigger than I initially thought.

Take the wheel off too, much easier to get at. Just a little better air flow and sound mentioned above, it's a basic cost nothing mod. Have fun!
