Why not write another one... :D :D

Anybod got a partnumber for a 180 stat?
Got to be a big brand since it feels kinda stupid
to order one from the states if I can get it here...

Is it the same stat as it is in a 5.0 mustang?

Thanks!

it should be the same as most other fords. try your local parts store, just ask for a 180 degree thermostat, they might not even ask what its for. its a pretty standard part.

Thermostat

Robertshaw makes a 180 for us. It probably won't be a part number that comes up on the computer inventory in most large Parts stores. Autozone online can get it for you. The part number is GT759-180. Its actually called a Generation II thermostat made by Robertshaw.

Thanks everybody!

Got one for 15 bucks...
Haven't put it in yet...
Isn't it supposed to come with a gasket around it??

Talked to the guy about it but he said it shouldn't be any... sounds strange to me
but... I don't know...

Do you guys??

Thanks!

It comes seperate, but it is not a special one matched to the Robertshaw Thermo. Just buy the stock gasket and a tube of High-Temp RTV sealant.

There great Tstats, but I just use a stant, it's probubly why my car runs hot LOL!

Also I've never seen a Tstat acctually come with a gasket it's too impractical saince alot of different cars use the same one...
