Wondering if anyone could maybe chime in and give me some feedback on what I think can be done to turbocharge the MN12 chassis neatly and cleanly and without going under the K-frame,I really don't like the idea of going under it especially since I plan on lowering the car atleast 1 1/2 inches.Anyway heres what I think after staring into the engine bay forever and mental pics I figured that because of the water outlet,oil filter,and the steering shaft that twins probably ain't gonna happen.But look on the passengers side

,take a look at the room here and back down the original exhaust route,if you flip the header and eliminate the a/c compressor,the take a pass. side manifold and put it on the drivers side and flip it!Might have to relocate power steering reservoir and maybe coil but it looks to be very doable,cut off the stock exhaust connections weld on some V-bands route both pipes to the turbo mounted maybe in this area

.Put a single in/out intercooler up front have the cold pipe coming up through here

fashion some piping through the mass-air meter to the throttle body and don't forget the BOV and it just might work.Have the exhaust from the turbo run out where the a/c comporessor used to sit along this area

down and out then to a Y-pipe to a tru dual setup and well what are some of your thoughts,because I bet I can make this happen!

I think the stock steering shaft might get in the way on the driver's side with a flipped around pax manifold. Should be an easy fix though if it does get in the way. Do the remote oil cooler that has AN fittings on a custom block adaptor plate.

I really wanted the twin setup but a 3-3 1/2" pipe coming off of the turbo down the drivers side, well lets just say for simplicity and minimal modifications the single turbo looks easier.I figured on using a passenger side(log style)manifold on the drivers side because it hugs the head where as the original drivers side header on the mark8 extends out.a twin may be possible with some modifications like you said but I figured I could build a good clean single system and always be able to upgrage/downgrade turbos for more or less power.

check out the drivers side and all of the obstructions trying to get one pipe in one pipe out in that area,passengers side is a straight shot out and down.I can almost hear the whistle!
