I've seen this before but couldn't find it today by searching.
What's the recommended kind of hose that will work best the transmission line when installing a tranny cooler? Read somewhere that if you just ask for transmission line, they give you something crappy. And it's 3/8th's, correct?

I thought the steel tranny lines were 5/16? 3/8 would probly clamp down enough but I think you would be better off with 5/16 fuel oil vapor line

Allen,

Use 3/8" ID transmission hose. I highly recommend Aeroquip socketless hose in a -6 size. That hose will never let you down and mine is almost 10 years old now.

You can also use 11/32" ID hose if needed. You'll need about 10 feet total and a fitting to adapt to the radiator fitting. If you are running the coolers in series, tap off the top fitting on the raditaor as it's the return to the transmission.
