35 series in an 18" will generally be too short for a T-Bird. 245-45-18 is almost identical to stock diameter.

255-45-18 on an 18x8" rim, 38mm offset if I remember correctly. That's as wide as I would go in the front, it's a pretty tight fit. Like Ed said, 245-45-18 is best as far as size goes, the 255-45-18 is a little taller at 27". Good luck with whatever you decide...

I'm currently running 245/45/18s, and I think they look too short on my car, even with it lowered. I'm going to go to 255/45/18s next time around.

Here is a 245-45-18...No Rub, No issues at all and looks good...Enough said...

Really, with the exception of running MAYBE a 255-45-18 or some 275-40-18 meats in the rears, there really is no better choices for most applications.

SloMo...I have stared at the pics of your car and can't see how those tires are 245-45-18's when the car looks like it has a lift kit, yet it is lowered??? Something just does not add up. Although, from looking at the car I would say you are a candidate for the 255-45-18 IF you are running a 245-45-18 in that pic...

The white car above is only on a 1.5" Eibach kit...So you can understand my confusion???

I put 255-45-18 on mine a few years ago, knowing that they might be a bit large ... but I couldn't pass up a fabulous deal on the tires.

Here's mine, lowered 1.5" with Eibachs:

Overall, I'm happy with the way the 27" tires fit on the car. We had to roll and trim the rear fender lips slightly, to keep them off the tires over large bumps.

Ed, how did you roll/trim the fender lips? I don't want to do the baseball bat method, OI'm thinking about just taking a dremmel to it and cutting the problem area off. Do you think it would bother anything to just cut off, instead of cutting slits and bending up? Nice car too :)

Also, I love how my 27" tires fit, they fill up the wheels wells nicely. I wouldn't recommend them, only because some people have issues, but I took the chance and it worked out great for me.

I was thinkin 245-40-18s on my new wheels I just purchased(not a lowered car) that will pretty much keep the same dimensions pretty much relatively to stock correct?

Those wheels look to be like 7" wide and maybe a +40MM offset too....Which would help alot in tucking...

I say they are prolly 7" wide since the 245's seem to want to bulge a lil bit on your sidewalls...Just an observation/guess...
