??? At first I thought that the thread was yours and now I don't get why you are taking the time to post this here? I originally wrote the following paragraph thinking that you were him and now I don't feel like rewriting it.
You said that you replaced the fuel filter but you didn't say anything about the fuel pump. Sure, it may provide enough pressure at idle but the pump could still be faulty. I had a simialr problem with a fuel pump and for awhile I was able to get it working by flooring it a few times but that didn't work after a short while. Besides cleaning the MAF have you tried swapping it with a known good one just to be sure? To be honest there are sooooo many things that can be bad so please tell us everything that you've done so far. For instance have you checked coils, vacuum hoses, IAC, EGR, injectors, etc, etc, etc.
