I use s single 12" sub with about 500W to it.
Is it ported or sealed? Just curious. Starting to feel pretty confident about going with sealed, question is just how many and what size. Going to sic the the tape measure on the trunk when i get a chance and probably let that decide if it will. Between working nights and it always raining, tough to be productive. Lets say i start looking at a pair of 12s.... how much amp can i go with before having to upgrade the stock alternator? 3g alts are 120 or 140 or something arent they?

I'm running a jbl 12" sub that only needs 1.5 cu ft box volume, which is easy to fit. 12's will hit lows that a 10 just can't do well. our 6x8" speakers have little bass; hell, I've killed a lot of 6x9" speakers before I realized they have no bass response, lol. Subs are necessary.

What I did on my 94 years ago to make thr base sound cleaner was the center arm rest in the rear seat. When you pull the arm rest down it's just fabric dividing the cabin to the trunk so if you cut the fabric you can fold it back and glue or staple it back to my a port into the trunk. this helps relieve some of the trunk rattle and helps bring some of the bass into the cabin.
