what should the ohms of my factory wires be?

it'll change with the length of the wires but mine were about 7.5 k ohms and then i had one bad one that was 215 k ohms just to give an idea

thanks, i was just curious. i have an eradic idle, and i am not sure where to go right now.

When was the last time you did a tune up? New plugs, wires, PCV valve and a fuel filter could go a long way towards smoothing out your idle. Running a can of seafoam through the engine couldn't hurt either. If you're replacing spark plug wires, go with something better built that the stock Motorcraft units. I got my Taylor Thundervolt 50's at summit for around $100. You can even get them in pretty colours.
