Will I need any special tools for new front and rear shocks and springs? What all will I need, (sizes)???

Tools needed for rear spring/shock replacement

Trolley jack
Jack Stand
Lug wrench
Locking lug nut key
Penetrating fluid
White lithium grease
9mm socket bit
13mm deep socket bit
18mm socket bit (1/2” drive)
18mm comb. wrench
21mm socket bit (1/2” drive)
21mm comb. wrench
½” lug breaker bar.


Haven't done the fronts, but maybe someone else can post that.

That's a required tool for almost any job. I don't think I could do a job without it!

I can't get the DAMN bolt out of the bottom shock... it connects the LCA and the shock.. i got the nut off, but the BOLT won't come out!!!!!!!!

i usually stick screwdriver between the mounting points (space above lca where shock mounts too) and give it a twist. sometimes theres tension on it that'll keep bolt in there tight
