I have a 93 cougar, and I have some bad saggage of the rear end of the Cougar. This usually happens when I have any extra amount of weight in the trunk. Will just some new shocks fix this or will I have to buy springs/ progressive springs? Please advise.....

Shocks will do nothing for you. You are basically overloading your springs. Progressive springs will not help you a lot either. A linear spring will actually be more beneficial in this case.

if the springs are blown out then either put new ones in, or get a airlift airbag kit to put inside the spring to help it out.

The airlift hit is like 60 bucks at summit I beleive.

Which ones should I buy, the adjustable or regular? Also are they difficult to install?
