as usual i got lots of extra parts from parting out god knows what here { ford truck , a 87 vic , and the in question 91 5.0 sport bird } . anyway i was looking / searching for some info i can't seen to nail down . i have and drive a 95 lx 4.6 that has become toy no. 2 behind my 53 effie . well i was wondering since the 91 is being parted and has nearly new struts and 4 brand new springs , if they were any heavier in rates , hopefully to aid in making a little better handling the 95 , and if the sway bars were any heavier also { it's cold and icy and really dont wanna lay on it to check the 95 bars ! } . the previous owner say's the springs were ford replacement springs for that car , as mentioned 91 5.0 sport . thanx for any info . and as mentioned i want to use the parts on the 95 .

91 Sport springs are stiffer than '95 LX 4.6 springs.

Sport Springs:
Front: 349-403 lb./in.
Rear: 509-637 lb./in

'95 LX Springs:
Front: 270-330 lb./in.
Rear: 361-501 lb./in.

The set on my '92 Sport and another set I purchased from a parted out later model "Sport" optioned Bird both had the green J tags on them. I'm going to use the second set on my '95 LX as well.

The sway bars are some biger on a Sport, not a huge difference though.
