Every once in a while, the car will not start right up. After about 30 secs- 1 min. of turning the key back and forth, it will turn over. At first I thought it was my worn key, but have replaced that. WHen I turn the key, it doesn't crank or anything. All i can hear is a click then silence.
I thought that click was the solenoid? Is there any other way to check the solnoid?
It has done this about 5 times in the last 2 months (daily driver).
Thanks for the insight.
one other thing...how do you jump the starter, just in case it won't work before I get it fixed and I don't get stuck somewhere. I have heard using a screw driver to open the circuit, but where exactly are the points (closed circuit) to do this in the 4.6 bird? Thanks
