- I recently installed a large Hayden tranny cooler and had the fluid completely changed with the T-Tech system to get all of the old crud out.

- They used Mercon V, and my cooler is working fine, but I still have a very significant shudder.

- I have about 93K miles on the car and minimal modifications that affect the powertrain or driveline.

- What do I do next? I have no experience working on tranmissions, so I'm thinking I should just take it to a professional.

- I live in Jacksonville, FL, so if there are any shops that are worth my time, please let me know where I should go or what I should do.

Thanks,

John

P.S. I will be deploying for the next few months, but I was wanting to do the Jerry Mod when I returned if anybody wants to come over for some beers and a little wrench turning.

If it's still shuddering, it may be the Torque Converter is shot and needs to be replaced.

When was the last time the plugs and wires were changed? May not be the transmission at all...

If that's not it take it to Reinhart Automotive down in Orange Park. They should be able to fix you up.

I don't know, I kinda said it as a joke, but I'm sure someone's done it before. This is the first car I've had that actually had a drainplug for the TC, so to me it's more of a convenience than a necessity.
