Im still getting a low grinding sound i believe from my transimission, Its most noticible during cold start up while idleing, and raising the rpms has no effect on the noise.

What parts of the transmission are moving while the car is in park?

ok...no one can answer that question......guess i'll just wait till something breaks and hope i have the money to fix it....

I'm not familiar with that situation, are you sure it is from the transmission. Are you sure it's not a slightly low fluid situation causing it to suck air and make those noises. I'd think it would have to be a pump issue if it is in the transmission.

+1 on checking for low fluid. Mine made a weird grinding type noise and I saw that I was leaking some fluid at the radiator. Replaced the radiator and checked the fluid for color issues and then filled her up to the right level and it was gone.
